Do your dog's ears hang wet and dirty in their food or water after every meal? And do you have to wipe them clean every time after eating?

The Long Ears Food Bowl is narrower and deeper than a standard bowl. Your dog can reach his food, and his ears stay clean. This saves on washing and reduces the damp ears that so often lead to ear infections in floppy ears.

Our long-eared dog food bowl is made of PINO Sandstone® , a strong and heavy material that keeps the bowl in place, prevents it from tipping over, and resists being bitten to pieces.

Handmade in Belgium.

Black Panther Winter Edition. The same feeding bowl in PINO Sandstone®, in black marble with white veins. Handmade in a social workshop in Belgium. The marble is turned by hand, so no two are the same. Each piece comes with its own numbered certificate. We produce a limited number of each piece. Once they are sold out, they will not be coming back.

EARS OUT, SNOUT IN

Spaniels, bassets, beagles, dachshunds, setters, doodles: if the ears hang lower than the jaw, then those ears are at the table first . In a wide, open food bowl, they hang in the food and soak up water, and you may wipe them after every meal.

The Long Ears Feeding Bowl tapers towards the top. The snout fits inside, and the ears lie along the outside.

  1. An edge that curves inward

    The opening is narrower than the food bowl itself, so the ears cannot follow the snout inside.

  2. Also dry ears at the water bowl

    The ears get the wettest when drinking. No more trail of drops from the water bowl onto the sofa.

  3. Lower risk of irritation

    Ears that stay clean and dry are less prone to redness, itching, and that typical odor.

  4. Heavy enough to stand

    PINO Sandstone® does not slide or tilt, not even if a greedy dog tries to push it away.

Does your dog already have an ear infection? Then visit your veterinarian first. The food bowl helps prevent it, but does not cure anything.

 

Material & Maintenance

Made from PINO Sandstone® , our proprietary material based on natural sand. Heavy enough to stay in place, strong enough for an avid biter, and free from BPA, phthalates, PVC, and lead.

Dishwasher safe at 30°C on the top rack, and also easy to clean by hand. It can also be kept in the fridge, which is handy if you feed raw. Do not microwave.

Each piece is handmade in Belgium, so small differences in the finish are to be expected.
