1. Unplug your battery as soon as it’s charged or even before. Never leave large batteries charging overnight.
2. Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface. No beds, couches or carpet.
3. Use the charger that came with your device, if available, and follow the manufacturer's charging instructions. Just because the plug fits, doesn't mean it's safe.
4. Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
5. If your battery no longer holds charge, it’s time to recycle it
6. Never dispose of lithium-ion batteries in household rubbish.
