This can lead to bloating, weight gain, or digestive problems. That is why we created the PINO Anti-Gulp Food Bowl, a bowl designed for slower, healthier eating habits. The raised obstacles ensure slower intake and mental stimulation , without causing frustration.

Our Anti-Gulp dog food bowl is made of PINO Sandstone® , a strong and heavy material that keeps the bowl in place, prevents it from tipping over, and is resistant to being bitten to pieces.

The marble is turned by hand, so no two are the same. Each piece comes with its own numbered certificate. We produce a limited number of each piece. Once they are sold out, they will not be coming back.

EATING IS NOT A COMPETITION

Some dogs eat as if it were a competition. The food bowl is empty in a few seconds, followed by coughing, vomiting, or begging for more. Gulping is more than just making a mess : it can lead to a bloated belly, excess weight, and stomach problems.

The Anti-Gulp Food Bowl has raised shapes on the inside. Your dog has to eat around them bite by bite, so the meal takes longer without becoming frustrating.

  1. Obstacles that set the pace

    Raised shapes divide the food bowl, so your dog eats around it instead of wolfing everything down at once.

  2. A bit of thinking

    The final bites require some work with nose and tongue. A gentle mental challenge, not a frustrating puzzle.

  3. Easier on the stomach

    Eating more slowly helps prevent gulping and the problems associated with it, such as vomiting or a bloated stomach.

  4. Heavy enough to stand

    An anti-gorging feeder is pushed and shifted more than any other feeder. PINO Sandstone® is heavy, so it simply stays put.

Does your dog vomit often, or does his belly look bloated after eating? Then visit your veterinarian first. The food bowl makes your dog eat more slowly, but it doesn't cure anything.

 

Material & Maintenance

Made from PINO Sandstone® , our proprietary material based on natural sand. Heavy enough to stay in place, strong enough for an avid biter, and free from BPA, phthalates, PVC, and lead.

Dishwasher safe at 30°C on the top rack, and also easy to clean by hand. It can also be kept in the fridge, which is handy if you feed raw. Do not microwave.

Each piece is handmade in Belgium, so small differences in the finish are to be expected.
